"Modern" Image on the Tanat Valley

Whilst going through a second hand Railway Modeller recently this battered and faded print fell out from between the pages. It must have been a secret test run of the then brand new AC railbus to determine if reinstating passenger services was viable.

  1. Ah, this takes me back to early journeys on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, back in the late sixties. Wonderful! (Although I didn't think they had instagram back then... :-)

  2. Iain,

Obviously it is in straight out of the box condition but there is something about it that doesn't seem quite right, though I can't put my finger on anything obvious. It might just be the lack of a properly painted interior

  3. That would definitely help, and some subtle weathering especially of the underworks...these look a bit too "black"...very nice, though.
